CONCEPT

All our products contain concentrated competence. At the Kleinmaischeid site in Rheinland-Pfalz, Conradi+Kaiser not only produces high-quality products from new rubber and SBR. We design all our moulds ourselves – from the idea to the technical drawing to the finished product. In our in-house toolmaking department, we produce moulds for our pressing machines, tools for the construction of the playground and outdoor fitness equipment as well as moulds for our vulcanisation according to the most modern standards.

MOULD CONSTRUCTION

Our employees have decades of experience in the construction of elaborate moulds. We know exactly how our materials behave and how the corresponding machining aids must be designed. Close cooperation between the individual manufacturing processes based on the company’s own standards ensures optimal project processing as well as a perfect result – unique series products for our customers!

FINISHING

When your products have left our rubber production or vulcanisation facilities, they are far from finished. In our in-house paint shop, we finish, paint and embellish – so that in the end your customer holds the perfect result in his hands. Here, too, the advantages of production at one location become apparent: through savings in transport costs as well as optimal and permanent quality control. Because only when you are satisfied, we are satisfied too.

Branches

In large animal husbandry, there are special requirements for housing to ensure the greatest possible animal welfare. The focus here is often on anti-slip systems that also provide soft, insulating surfaces to protect the animals’ joints and offer a good place for them to lie down. Products made of rubber granulate are ideally suited for this area of application, as the material fulfils all parameters from its origin. Convince yourself!

Whether as an intake manifold or as a vibration-damping element in the engine, there are no limits to the use of recycled rubber and new rubber in the automotive industry. For example, you want to bring out a model of your top vehicle as a giveaway for loyal customers? No problem – we also realise the smallest quantities of model tyres for you!

More mobility means more exposure from road noise. Especially when building new roads or bridges, attention must therefore be paid to low-emission construction methods. Products made of highly compressed rubber granulate can buffer and support vibrations and shocks. In road traffic as well as in traffic guidance and calming, large-volume elements have also been indispensable for a long time.

Noise protection starts right at the track. If you follow the discussion about railway noise in the Middle Rhine Valley, for example, it quickly becomes clear that we have to start at every point. Because noise barriers are not always possible from an urban planning point of view. Among other things, the railway is testing whisper wheels on trains. Conradi+Kaiser goes one step further and develops sound-absorbing elements made of rubber granulate, which are attached directly to the track and still withstand the high loads caused by rail traffic.

Whether suction cups, suction devices for ECGs or rubberised guide elements for endoscopes – the areas of application for new rubber in medical technology are diverse. And they are also very safe, because new rubber contains very few harmful substances.

Classic, quite clearly, the fall protection slab, the indestructible universal genius on playgrounds. Shock-absorbing, insulating, low-maintenance, barrier-free, the fall protection slab has clear advantages on its side and is used especially on playgrounds and football pitches as well as schoolyards when sustainable and cost-oriented planning is the basis.

Special benefit: For our customers, we have numerous special solutions on offer that have been specially tailored to the customer. For example, there are edgings for trampolines that not only comply with all current standards and guidelines but are also eye-catchers on playgrounds and leisure areas.

In order to create a holiday feel-good atmosphere in one’s own garden, Conradi+Kaiser provides an extensive product portfolio for the DIY market/building materials trade with the trade brand TERRASOFT. Whether pool underlays, products for car protection or shock-absorbing floor coverings – with TERRASOFT you will inspire your customers and generate sales growth at the POS.

Increased demands on load securing require innovative product ideas. Rubber granulate can be used to create individual products that are shock- and vibration-absorbent. In our standard range, for example, the universal mat is ideally suited as an underlay in transport vehicles.

Value creation at Conradi+Kaiser consists largely of generating knowledge and applying it for our customers and partners. It is not only in our in-house mould and tool construction, for example, that we rely on the many years of experience of our employees. We also receive regular feedback on the optimisation of process flows and production processing during daily work with the designed moulds. Dr. Georg Maxein
Innovation Manager

After Udo Conradi, Conradi+Kaiser has once again employed a successful chemist since 2020, continuing the tradition of always going one step further, thinking further, developing further. Dr Georg Maxein brings with him in-depth knowledge of strategic and operational product development.

He is the first point of contact for planning and implementing customer-specific projects and requirements, including feasibility and risk analyses as well as project assessment with regard to road safety and normative evaluation. In the in-house technical centre, he constantly puts our products and processes to the test and is responsible for internal quality management.

Udo Henk
Master toolmaker

The history of the Henk family from Kleinmaischeid is closely connected to the history of Conradi+Kaiser. Having grown up as a contract manufacturing company, the decision was made in the mid-1990s for Conradi+Kaiser to take over – a success story was born.

With the takeover, Udo Henk also joined the company. As a master toolmaker, he is one of the people responsible for the success of our company. The in-house toolmaking department enables our customers to realise numerous product ideas at short notice. Udo Henk’s many years of experience guarantee expert, rapid implementation.

Simone Simonis
Design

Simone Simonis completes the development team at Conradi+Kaiser. As a mechatronics engineer and master’s degree in mechanical engineering, she has both theoretical and practical skills. In addition to product development, she is responsible for the design of playground equipment at Conradi+Kaiser and supports certification processes.

She works hand in hand with Udo Henk in the design of new tools. Customers and colleagues benefit from her extensive knowledge in toolmaking as well as in design challenges.
